Financial Assistance

We have a proud history of supporting many families achieve their dream of accessing a Sholem Aleichem education. All information is confidential and handled with discretion.

The Sholem Gateway Fund

In adhering to this philosophy, provision is made to assist parents experiencing financial barriers towards paying school fees. The Gateway Fund has been established to assist such parents by way of a bursary which is secured for the entirety of the student's education at the College.

An initial Financial Fee Relief application form is required to be completed by parents who require financial support. Further financial information and documentation may need to be provided in order to be considered for a Sholem Gateway Fund bursary.

Please see our Sholem Gateway Fund Media Release and Frequently Asked Questions.

The Jewish Fee Assistance Board (FAB)

The FAB independently assess parents whose children currently attend a public school because they cannot afford to pay the full fees of a Jewish school. The FAB assessment is based on a quantitative model and does not require applicants to provide any non-financial information or attend meetings.

Once the fee discount has been determined, the FAB liaises with the College regarding the applicant(s). Children that receive a bursary via the FAB and attend Sholem Aleichem College will be able to transfer their enrolment to a participating Jewish secondary school, subject to availability.

Please be in touch to arrange a confidential discussion to determine the best way forward for your child to receive an outstanding Jewish education.

Should you wish to apply for financial assistance, please email coo@sholem.vic.edu.au or complete the form below to be contacted confidentially.
